It has been a very humid 82F (28C) in Glasgow today; sunny without a cloud in the sky. After the various laptop debacles that have occured thus far, I've decided to go for a custom-built laptop and have narrowed down the options to PC Specialist, Laptop Superstore (who sell computers manufactured by Fortune) and Bentley Direct. I glanced at the tv server; that was a big mistake, as the case fan immediately died. I was really not kidding about being the kiss of death in my last post. Luckily the CPU fan is still working so it's still operational and taping television programes, but the case fan needs to be replaced this morning or else that might not be true tomorrow. So far this week I've managed to kill two trackball mice (er, mouses?) and one CD-RW drive.
